Evaporators

FORCED CIRCULATION EVAPORATORS ECO-ENERGY SERIES
The Eco-Energy series guarantees:
· Significant reduction in the installed power
· Optimised consumption of water
· Reduced product residence time
· Continuous and constant output also with high viscosity products.
A vacuum is usually generated by means of a liquid ring pump, alternatively with steam ejectors.
The tube-nests have been designed to use the product circulation pump with low installed power. Steam condensation is obtained by means of a semi barometric condenser. Use of special water inlet sprayers optimises consumption and the water is extracted by means of a centrifugal pump.
The operating temperatures at tripleeffect evaporation chamber are:
- first effect 78 °C
- second effect 60 °C
– third effect 42 °C
In the standard version, Eco-Energy evaporators are made of stainless steel 304, including the condenser. The supporting structure is made of hot dip galvanised steel.
To complete Eco-Energy series, FBR ELPO offers a new evaporator to treat particularly delicate products, suitable to keep product organoleptic characteristics unaltered, safeguarding aroma and colour as much as possible.

Eco-Energy has various design solutions. In fact, the range also includes simple, double, triple or quadruple effect evaporators, with the option of dividing the effects in multiple stages. Capacity ranges from 50 t/day to 2,000 t/day of incoming product.
The steam in all versions has reverse-flow compared to the product.

PRE-CONCENTRATOR AT ACCELERATED CIRCULATION ECO-SAVING
With the Eco-Saving MVR pre-concentrator, with mechanical vapour recompression, it is possible to concentrate tomato and fruit juice eliminating steam and water comsumptions.
The juice coming from the extraction line, enters the evaporation chamber, producing vapour by means of the flash effect due to the temperature difference. This vapour is sucked by a mechanical compressor which feeds the circulation tube nests with the recompressed vapour having higher pressure and temperature.
The product, passing through the tube nests, which can be upflow or/and down- flow, is heated and returns to the
evaporation chamber feeding the concentration process.
The system is equipped with a surface condenser and a vacuum pump to achieve the desired vacuum degree and temperature.
A centrifugal pump recovers the vegetable condensates.
Once the set brix degree is reached, a volumetric pump, driven by inverter, extracts the product automatically.

FALLING FILM EVAPORATORS, AZIMUT SERIES
The different solutions of this series include evaporation capacities from 1,000 l/h up to 50,000 l/h of evaporated water, with a number of effects that range from 1 to 6. These evaporators are suitable to process clear fruit juices, however, they are also used in the dairy and wine-making industries. It is possible to apply a thermocompressor to reduce energy consumption.
The peculiarity and main advantage of these types of evaporators is the extremely reduced residence time, which assures no organoleptic property alterations even with extremely delicate products.
The steam condenser is usually surface type which enables aromatic condensate recovery by installing an aroma recovery unit.
In the standard version, Azimut evaporators are made of stainless steel 304, including the condenser.
The supporting structure is made of hot dip galvanised steel.

FORCED CIRCULATION AND FALLING FILM MIXED EVAPORATORS, MULTIPURPOSE SERIES
The series has been designed to process pulpy products as well as de-pulped products with a forced circulation section and a falling film section. A single control panel enables you to select and manage the two operating options. The surface condenser enables aromatic condensate recovery.
Evaporation capacity ranges from 1,000 l/h to 50,000 l/h of evaporated water.
In the standard version, Multipurpose evaporators are made of stainless steel 304, including the condenser; the supporting structure is made of hot dip galvanised steel.
